Provide impactful mental health care with Northern Health as a Community Mental Health Specialist. Focus on assessing and supporting clients with addictions and mental health challenges. This role involves working under the guidance of the Community Acute Stabilization Team.

You will assess client needs, develop and monitor care plans, and lead therapeutic groups. Additionally, you'll educate families and specialists about mental health, delivering insights and interventions to support holistic recovery. Key Responsibilities:
Assess and plan client care activities effectively
Implement and evaluate mental health treatment plans
Support clients during crises with intervention services
Lead therapeutic sessions for groups and individuals
Consult and educate on mental health best practices Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling
Experience in mental health and addictions treatment
Solid foundation in therapeutic practices
