Surefire Ventures is looking for qualified Maintenance tech for an apartment building in downtown Calgary.

The Apartment Building Maintenance Technician reports to the Property Manager.

Some of the responsibilities include:
Maintaining inventory and equipment
Plumbing repair and general knowledge of HVAC
Knowledge of boilers / building operator an asset
Painting/Caulking
Turning over units
Minor electrical
Appliance repair is an asset.
Cleaning as needed
Responding to emergencies (on-call)
Adhering to safety and security policy
Robust communication and teamwork skills, as well as great attention to detail

What you bring - To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following: · Must be able to pass background check.
Two to three years of Highrise building maintenance experience
The ability to stand on your feet for lengthy periods.
Basic computer literacy





We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance and a customer service mindset. Strong leadership abilities are also important for this role. · Fourth / Fifth Class Power Engineering Certificate Would be an asset.

· Certified Pool & Spa Operator (CPO) certificate. Would be an asset.
