In this role, you will spearhead efforts in mine water practices and technical delivery from assessment through closure.
Your leadership will shape project frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while also fostering a team-oriented setting. Take charge of complex water management solutions that support mining sustainability in Atlantic Canada. Key Responsibilities:
Direct all phases of mine water management projects
Develop, calibrate, and review water balance models
Ensure effective design of water management infrastructure
Lead regulatory submissions and technical reviews
Mentor junior staff and cultivate technical excellence Requirements:
8–12 years of relevant experience in water management
Degree in Engineering or Environmental Sciences
Expertise in hydrologic modeling tools (HEC-HMS, GoldSim)
Experience with environmental assessments and permitting
