The Canadian Public Accountability

Board is seeking a Director for its Inspections team, located in Toronto, Montreal, or Vancouver. This leadership position requires at least ten years of progressive experience in audit, particularly within a Big Four firm. Candidates must possess a CPA designation and demonstrate proficiency in IFRS, Canadian Auditing Standards, and ideally, US GAAP. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct audits of public accounting firms' quality management systems
Manage inspection projects and meet deadlines consistently




Build and nurture relationships with audit firms and stakeholders
Prepare transparent and impactful inspection reports
Participate in projects for continuous improvement of inspection processes Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of accounting/audit experience
CPA designation required
In-depth IFRS knowledge; US GAAP is an asset
Proficient in French if applying for Montreal
