Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Fire Extinguisher Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, maintaining, repairing, recharging, and installing portable fire extinguishers in accordance with applicable fire safety codes, industry standards, and company procedures. Work is performed both in our shop and at customer locations, so a positive attitude, solid work ethic, and excellent customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities
Inspect, test, maintain, repair, recharge, and install portable fire extinguishers.
Ensure all work complies with applicable fire codes, industry standards, and company policies.
Perform scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance at customer sites and in the shop.
Complete accurate digital inspection reports and service documentation.
Safely operate hand and power tools, equipment, and service vehicles.
Provide skilled, courteous customer service while representing the company.
Maintain a clean,



organized, and protected work environment.
Work independently while managing daily schedules and service calls efficiently.

Qualifications
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Portable Fire Extinguisher Technician certification is considered an asset.
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Basic computer skills for completing digital inspection reports and work orders.
Ability to safely use hand and power tools.

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
