This permanent full-time position at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre requires the Technical Assistant to work under the Team Lead's direction. Applicants must have familiarity with computer systems for patient information management. Ideal candidates will demonstrate effective communication, organizational skills, and a willingness to undertake non-patient care functions within a busy healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist patients during their visits to the department
• Perform data entry for radiographic information
• Facilitate patient transfers efficiently and safely




• Support departmental activities that are non-patient care related
• Help maintain the organization of the Diagnostic Imaging area
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Minimum one year experience in computer data entry
• Familiarity with medical terminology preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Competency in additional languages, particularly French, is an asset
