As a full time Van Outreach Support Worker, you will be instrumental in meeting immediate community needs. Your role will involve driving outreach vans, providing food and clothing, and ensuring safety through wellness checks. You'll uphold MSP’s harm reduction approach, building relationships and fostering independence among marginalized individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive outreach vans and transport clients in need
• Ensure clients receive food, shelter, and hygiene supplies
• Respond to crises and document all actions taken




• Conduct follow-up visits to encampments for ongoing support
• Maintain accurate records and report statistics
Requirements:
• Education and experience in human services preferred
• Experience in outreach roles is beneficial
• Valid Class 5 driver's license necessary
• Basic first aid and CPR certification
• Understanding of mental health and addiction challenges
