The Senior
Director will oversee key strategic initiatives within the Economic Development and Infrastructure Branch. This highly impactful position reports directly to the CEO while building positive relationships with First Nations leaders, government officials, and external partners. Candidates must possess robust leadership skills and a deep understanding of First Nations governance and economic frameworks. Key Responsibilities:
Lead planning and implementation of major initiatives
Develop strategies supporting national advocacy efforts
Build relationships with First Nations leaders and officials
Provide strategic advice to senior management
Oversee policy reports and proposals Requirements:
Minimum of five years in senior management roles
Degree in Economics, Political Science, or related field
Robust familiarity with First Nations issues
Proven experience in cooperative environments
Exceptional organizational and planning skills Excel in driving economic development and infrastructure initiatives with the Assembly of First Nations.
