Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, smoothies, and specialty drinks using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS for order processing
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, adhering to food safety guidelines
Manage time efficiently during busy periods to serve customers promptly without sacrificing quality
Support team members with serving food and beverages, ensuring a smooth flow of operations
Requirements
Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential
Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
Ability to multitask effectively in a quick-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Basic math skills for cash handling, order calculations, and inventory management
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Positive time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
Experience in the food industry, including serving or cashiering roles, is advantageous
