About the Role:
We’re currently hiring a Truck Transport Diesel Mechanic to help keep our fleet running safely and efficiently. This role involves everything from preventative maintenance to diagnostics and repairs on commercial vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on trucks, loaders, tractors, and heavy equipment
Complete MGI safeties and A/C repairs
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electronic issues using diagnostic software
Test and adjust systems to manufacturer specifications
Repair or replace components as needed
Communicate with team members, drivers, and vendors
Support building maintenance as required
Maintain a clean and protected workspace
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Solid understanding of tools, diagnostics, and heavy-duty repair procedures
Proficiency with diagnostic software
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
Detail-oriented with sound decision-making abilities
Qualifications:
Red Seal Journeyperson
Valid driver’s license
Experience with MGI safeties and A/C systems
Ability to read and follow technical manuals, schedules, and procedures
