Role Description This part-time Carpenter role is an on-site position based in London, ON. The Carpenter will perform a variety of tasks, including measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other materials for framing, structural work, and finish carpentry.

Daily responsibilities include interpreting blueprints or drawings, selecting appropriate materials, and using hand tools and power tools to complete installations, repairs, and renovations. The role involves maintaining a clean and safe work area, adhering to safety regulations,



and collaborating with supervisors and coworkers to ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards. The Carpenter may also assist with estimating materials, troubleshooting construction issues, and communicating progress to project leads.

Qualifications
Robust carpentry skills, including experience with structural work and general construction tasks.
Proficiency in using hand tools for measuring, cutting, fastening, and finishing.
Ability to safely operate power tools commonly used in carpentry work.
Experience with framing, including walls, floors, and other structural elements.
Skill in finish carpentry, such as trim installation, cabinetry, and detailed woodwork.
Understanding of construction safety practices and ability to follow site regulations.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings or blueprints.
Good physical stamina and capability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
Reliable transportation to in office locations in London, ON.
Previous experience in residential or commercial carpentry is an asset; relevant trade certification or apprenticeship is beneficial.
