Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Journeyman Machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will be mechanically inclined, have a solid work ethic, and be motivated to continue developing their machining skills in a fast-paced shop environment. The hours for night shift are Monday through Thursday from 4pm - 2:30 am.

Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Assist with CNC programming and perform basic program edits and adjustments as required.
Operate both CNC lathes and milling machines, with preference for experience in both disciplines.
Read and accurately interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify product quality and dimensional accuracy.
Operate manual and CNC machining equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform routine machine maintenance, tooling changes, and daily housekeeping activities.




Maintain compliance with quality standards, production schedules, and workplace safety requirements.
Identify and report manufacturing issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production and quality objectives.

Qualifications & Skills
Registered Machinist
Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving abilities
Intermediate experience reading and interpreting drawings
Introductory CNC programming skills or willingness to expand skills
Valuable communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Proactive, reliable, and self-motivated
