In this role, you will:
Safely operate a variety of heavy equipment in the high-quality installation of underground telecommunications infrastructure
Work in diverse weather conditions
Complete pre-work and ongoing safety hazard assessments and hazard controls; report any incidents and injuries
Conduct pre-trip equipment inspections; report all issues
Complete routine equipment cleaning, maintenance, and repairs
Review plans and drawings for installation guidance
Complete documentation including safety, production, materials
Positively reflect Recon Groundworks in interactions with clients, residents, and businesses
Assist in identification of buried underground utilities prior to excavation
Other tasks as required
Drive to sites pulling a trailer with equipment.





The ideal candidate brings:
Experience in the installation of underground utilities.
5+ years’ experience operating construction equipment (preferred)
Vibratory plow (asset)
Horizontal directional drill (asset)
Mini-excavator (asset)
Trencher (asset)
Skid Steer (asset)

Driver’s License
Class 5 (minimum required)
Class 3 License (asset)

Safety Certifications
Level 1 first aid (asset)
Ground Disturbance (asset)

Job Types: Full time, Permanent, Seasonal

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
