Qualifications:
Knowledge & understanding of LiDAR and its field and office application is a must
Knowledge of forest engineering and timber development, including harvest planning, road layout & design, and deflection line analysis.
Knowledge of coastal harvest & silvicultural systems.
Physically fit and interested in working in outdoor climates year-round.
Knowledge and understanding of navigational tools, maps, GPS surveys and applications, and general computer skills (MS Office, RoadEng, and ArcGIS).
Must be able to work camp shifts.
Registration with the FPBC as an RPF, RFT, FIT, TFT etc., would be an asset.
Renumeration:
Hourly compensation ranges from $27.50 - $38.00 depending on experience.
