Project Coordinator – Civil Construction (Road Construction)

Location: Sudbury, ON

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00–$38.00 per hour

We're looking for a motivated and organized Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of civil construction projects across Northern Ontario.

Working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients, you'll help coordinate projects from planning through completion while ensuring schedules, budgets, and documentation stay on track.

What You'll Do
Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination
Track project progress, schedules, and budgets
Prepare and manage RFIs, change orders, submittals, and project documentation
Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
Assist with procurement and material deliveries
Monitor project costs, invoices, and purchase orders
Attend project meetings and occasional site visits
Support Project Managers and field teams throughout the project
Ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date




Follow all company health and safety policies

What You'll Bring Required
Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent construction experience
Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence
Robust organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Assets

Experience with
Civil construction, road building, municipal infrastructure, mining, or industrial projects
Project Coordination or Project Administration
AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Bid2Win
Gold Seal, CET, C.Tech, EIT, or P.Eng designation
