Job Summary

The HCA/Caregiver is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs. Qualicare Homecare BC has an immediate, urgent opening for a dedicated Caregiver in the Mission area to support a local family starting within the next two weeks.

We are looking to onboard up to two reliable caregivers for this local case to ensure consistent, stable care coverage. If you are a compassionate skilled looking to make a meaningful difference for a local family right away, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities
Assistance with personal care and hygiene
Meal Preparation
Light Housekeeping
Accompany clients on outings
Shopping and errands
Medication Assist/ Reminders
Ambulation and transporting of clients

Ability to follow care-plan
Documentation/Charting

Qualifications
Must reside in Mission or the surrounding area and be available to start within the next two weeks
Must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for client transportation
Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student)
Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
CRC for Vulnerable Sector (valid for 5 years) or willingness to obtain
Access to Internet/smart phone with data
