Job Summary

We are recruiting for a Rating Specialist to join a well-established transportation and logistics organization in Oakville, ON on a 12 to 18 month maternity leave contract. This fully onsite role is ideal for a detail-oriented transportation professional with experience in freight rating, billing, LTL, FTL, and transportation documentation.

Key Responsibilities
Accurately rate freight bills for LTL, FTL, warehouse, courier, retail, and cross-border shipments.
Process freight bills, customer billing, supporting documentation, and shipment records with a high level of accuracy.
Enter, update, scan,



and maintain shipment information and transportation documents within the Transportation Management System.
Communicate with internal teams and customers to provide shipment updates and resolve rating or billing discrepancies.
Monitor daily rating activity to support billing accuracy, revenue capture, and timely processing.
Assist with administrative tasks and identify opportunities to improve freight billing and documentation processes.

Compensation and Benefits
$24.04 to $28.85 per hour.
$50,000 to $60,000 annually, based on experience.
Full-time, 12 to 18 month maternity leave contract.
Monday to Friday schedule.
8-hour workday.
Flexible start time between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM.
Fully onsite in Oakville, ON.
Supportive team setting with hands-on training.
