We are seeking a dedicated Bakery Assistant to join our team and assist in the daily operations of our bakery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and providing excellent customer service.
Duties
Assist in food preparation and baking activities
Package bakery items for display and sale
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
Follow food safety standards and guidelines
Help with cake decorating as needed
Provide friendly customer service to bakery patrons
Skills
Experience in cooking or food preparation is preferred
Knowledge of kitchen operations and equipment
Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
Ability to bake various bakery items
Proficiency in cake decorating techniques is a plus
Previous experience in the food industry is beneficial
Solid customer service skills
Job Type: Part time Pay: $17.80-$18.00 per hour
