Livright Ltd. is seeking a full-time Carpenter to join our team. We specialize in residential construction, renovations, and finishing work. The successful candidate will perform a variety of carpentry tasks across multiple job sites.
Responsibilities
Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood and other materials
Perform framing, finishing carpentry, and trim work
Install doors, windows, flooring, and cabinetry
Build decks, fences, and other wood structures
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches
Ensure quality workmanship and attention to detail
Maintain tools and equipment
Follow all workplace safety standards
Requirements
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in carpentry
Experience with framing and finishing carpentry
Ability to operate hand and power tools
Ability to read basic construction drawings
Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and performing manual labour
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Work Conditions
Various job sites in and around Calgary
Physically demanding, outdoor and indoor work
Rapid-paced setting
Compensation & Perks
$32.50 per hour
Vacation pay as per Alberta standards
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
Education:
Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
