Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Jr. Accountant to join our finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting skills within a agile organization. We are a fast growing company and this is a quick pace working environment. The Jr. Accountant will support various financial functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance across multiple accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of accounting principles and experience with popular accounting software.

Duties
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections
Assist with bank reconciliations and account analysis to maintain accurate financial records
Support bookkeeping activities using accounting software such as Sage
Prepare financial reports, including budgeting and auditing documentation
Perform account reconciliations regularly to verify data integrity
Assist with payroll processing and related financial services tasks
Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities




Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
Collaborate with team members on financial audits and compliance activities

Skills
Proficient in Sage 50
Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping practices
Experience with bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, and account analysis
Familiarity with corporate finance principles, budgeting, and auditing processes
Ability to perform payroll functions accurately
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask
Positive communication skills for collaborating across departments
