We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Turret Reach / Swing Reach Forklift Operator to join our warehouse distribution team. Responsibilities
Operate turret reach and swing reach forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve products within the warehouse.
Perform order picking tasks accurately using the forklift, ensuring correct items are selected for shipment or inventory updates.
Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update stock records, and ensure data accuracy.
Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and equipment, reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods with clamp trucks or other material handling equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work workplace to promote safety and efficiency.
Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, forklift operation, and warehouse procedures.
Qualifications
Proven experience operating turret reach, swing reach forklifts, and clamp trucks in a warehouse setting.
Mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation and basic troubleshooting.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing.
Ability to perform order picking accurately using forklift equipment.
Solid basic math skills for inventory counts and measurements.
Physical ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly.
Prior experience with order picker equipment is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
