Duties
Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure proper storage of ingredients
Support the kitchen team during busy service hours to deliver timely orders
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages
Requirements
Previous experience in food preparation or food service preferred; restaurant experience is a plus
Knowledge of cooking techniques, food handling, and safety standards in the food industry
