Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards
Operate the POS system efficiently to process customer orders accurately
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and ingredients
Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and transactions
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
Requirements
Previous barista experience or experience in the food industry is preferred
Robust customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a quick-paced setting
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety regulations
Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
Ability to operate cash registers and perform cashiering duties accurately
Knowledge of food handling practices is essential
