We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive dining experience. Responsibilities:
Greet guests with a warm and welcoming attitude upon arrival
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
Assist in seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space
Manage waitlist during peak hours and provide estimated wait times
Answer phone calls and assist with reservations or inquiries
Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
-Manage Retail Beer Store sales and Take outDelivery Orders
Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary
Requirements:
Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry
Previous Hosting experience is an asset.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Strong guest service skills with the ability to anticipate needs and exceed expectations
Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant/hotel operations
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with grace
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
