Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team, providing essential maintenance and repair services for a variety of heavy-duty equipment and vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in large truck repair, complete diesel engine overhauls, heavy equipment operation, and industrial machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety across all operations. The Diesel Mechanic will play a vital role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our fleet and equipment.

Duties
Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel engines on semi trucks/trailers
Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs and assembly tasks
Read schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems before they lead to breakdowns
Maintain records of repairs and maintenance activities for compliance and future reference
Operate heavy equipment safely during maintenance procedures as needed




Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations

Qualifications
Proven mechanic experience with a focus on diesel engines and heavy equipment maintenance
Robust knowledge of automotive repair, electrical systems, HVAC systems, welding, and industrial machinery
Experience working with Schematics for troubleshooting electrical or mechanical issues
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnostics and repairs
Valid red seal or licenses related to heavy equipment mechanics
