Duties
Supervise children during various activities, ensuring their safety at all times
Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
Maintain a clean and organized childcare area, adhering to health and safety standards
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities
Support children with personal care routines such as diapering or toileting when necessary
Encourage positive behavior and conflict resolution among children
Observe and document children's development milestones and behavioral changes for reporting purposes
Skills
Robust communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members
Patience, empathy, and a caring attitude towards children of all ages
Ability to create engaging activities that stimulate learning and creativity
Knowledge of child safety protocols and basic first aid procedures (certification preferred)
Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules within the childcare setting
Prior experience working with children is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a positive attitude in all interactions
