We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Night Cleaner to join our team at a local gym. This role involves maintaining a clean and safe environment during nighttime hours, ensuring the facility is ready for the next day. The position offers a adaptable schedule of four nights per week and includes a monthly bonus for consistent performance. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough cleaning of gym facilities, including locker rooms, workout areas, restrooms, and common spaces
Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met
Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as restocking supplies and reporting any repairs needed
Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, mirrors, and surfaces throughout the facility
Follow safety protocols and proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
Ensure the gym is presentable and ready for opening hours each morning by completing cleaning tasks efficiently during scheduled shifts
Qualifications
Prior experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance is preferred
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Reliable transportation to arrive on time for scheduled shifts
Ability to follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
