SLB is seeking a skilled Simulation Technology Developer for our Calgary team. This role involves developing advanced software for simulating transient pressure-flow behavior in various energy sectors. As part of the Dynamics team, you will help enhance simulation software while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of experts.
With your strong programming background in C++ and Python, you will tackle complex engineering challenges throughout the software lifecycle, from design to deployment. A commitment to learning and improving will be key to your success in this dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities:
Improve simulation capabilities for energetic energy systems
Implement and validate numerical solvers
Write high-quality,
maintainable code
Collaborate with domain experts for solution reliability
Document core components and user support Requirements:
Master’s or PhD in a related engineering or math discipline
1–5 years of relevant experience preferred
Solid skills in C++ and Python
Understanding of thermodynamics and numerical methods
