Chef De Partie (NOC 62200) – The Lake Louise Ski Resort
Location: 1 Whitehorn Rd, Lake Louise, AB T0L 1E0. On‑site requirements. Work must be completed at this physical location; no work from home possible.
Salary: $25.00–$27.00 hourly (negotiable). Hours: 35–40 per week, including early morning, evening, shift, flexible hours. Overtime available.
Terms: Permanent employment, full‑time.
Start date: As soon as possible.

Requirements:
Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
2–< 3 years of experience.
Work location must be on‑site.
Physical ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment with tight deadlines.
Must be able to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel.
Excellent oral communication, interpersonal skills, initiative, organization.
Team player, dependable, flexible, reliable, and efficient.
Leadership: train staff, supervise activities, recruit and hire staff.
Responsibilities:
Estimate amounts and costs of supplies and food items.
Estimate labor costs and maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
Analyze operating costs and other data.
Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff.
Supervise specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.
Create new recipes and instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation.
Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events (banquets, weddings, etc.).
Requisition food and kitchen supplies, arrange equipment purchases and repairs.
Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets, and specialty functions.
Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards, including catering for allergies or intolerances.
Recruit, hire, train staff.
Lead and instruct individuals.

Work under pressure with tight deadlines.
Physically demanding: handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
Attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
