We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Hardware Associate to join our team. Preference will be given to applicants with strong knowledge or hands-on experience in plumbing, electrical, hardware, and building materials. We are looking for someone confident assisting customers with home improvement and repair projects while providing knowledgeable and professional service.

Position Details:
Full-time position, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Rotating weekends required (every other weekend)

Responsibilities:
Greet customers promptly and provide courteous, skilled service
Assist customers with product selection, project planning, and locating merchandise
Communicate product knowledge related to plumbing, electrical, hardware, tools, and building materials
Assist customers in finding all items needed to complete their projects
Process sales transactions and special orders
Stock shelves and maintain organized displays and work areas
Receive, replenish, and organize inventory
Assist with merchandising, pricing, signage, and general housekeeping
Help unload trucks and keep storage areas neat and orderly




Assist customers with carrying large or heavy merchandise
Operate equipment and tools safely, including key cutting and material cutting equipment where required
Participate in inventory counts and restocking
Follow all store safety policies and procedures
Perform additional duties and assignments as required by management

Qualifications:
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
Solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical, hardware, or building materials considered a major asset
Friendly, positive, and professional attitude
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift heavy merchandise as required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn and continue developing product knowledge

Reports directly to the Department Manager and/or Store Manager.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
