Our seasonal employment runs from April 1st. to November 15th. You will be working both locally and abroad within Canada and the United States. All work visas are provided as well as food and room and board. All equipment training and instruction will be performed in house by our qualified employees.
Although you will be working hard to bring in crops for customers, there will also be time off to go and enjoy local attractions or do personal things. Such days will be rainy days and/or down time. While on harvest, employees will be supplied with groceries for breakfast and lunches and hot meals (take out and home cooked) will be delivered to the field daily.
Operates equipment in a protected manner and be familiar with all safety devices on the combine/tractor.
Ability to perform all routine maintenance on combine & header including adjustments, refueling, greasing and cleaning machine filters and cab.
Help load and unload combine and header.
Perform walk around inspections.
Be able to safely unload the combine while it is cutting.
Posses a valid driver’s license and provide a driver’s abstract.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Special Requirements:
Perform household type cleaning maintenance in crew trailer/lodging areas.
Each employee is responsible to do his own laundry.
Must have a valid passport.
Must be able legally enter the USA/Canada.
Mechanically inclined with up-to-date farm equipment.
Must be a team player.
Must be willing to learn.
