Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Needs Convenience. The ideal candidate enjoys helping others, takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized store, and provides friendly, efficient service to every guest. As a Sales Associate, you’ll support day-to-day operations in our convenience store, fuel station, and car wash, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and positive experience for customers.

Duties
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting with purchases, fuel, and car wash transactions
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately, including cash, debit, credit, and lottery sales
Maintain stock levels by restocking shelves, coolers, and supplies as needed
Keep the store, forecourt, and car wash areas clean and safe at all times
Follow company policies and legal requirements for tobacco, lottery, and age-restricted products
Perform light cleaning and maintenance tasks, including garbage removal and car wash bay checks




Monitor fuel pumps for safety and report any spills or equipment issues promptly
Assist with inventory, deliveries, and merchandising to ensure the store is organized and visually appealing
Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive, skilled workplace

Experience
Previous experience in retail, gas station, or customer service roles is an asset (training provided)
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Comfortable handling cash and performing basic math
Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work adaptable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
