As our new Corporate Legal Counsel, you will focus on compliance, public policy, and securities matters related to cryptocurrency businesses. This role requires at least five years of experience and a keen understanding of Canadian securities regulations. Collaborating with compliance, product, and executive teams, you will help ensure that Ndax meets all legal obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and interpret laws affecting the cryptocurrency sector • Develop policies in line with evolving regulations • Analyze cryptocurrency assets for compliance with securities laws • Support compliance with client complaints and legal proceedings • Negotiate corporate contracts and service agreements
Requirements: • Law degree (LL.B. or J.D.) from recognized institution • Minimum of 5 years in securities law or regulatory compliance • Strong legal drafting and negotiation skills • Excellent communication to engage non-legal stakeholders • In-depth knowledge of Canadian securities regulations
