At PwC, our people in deals focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. They help clients navigate complex transactions and maximise value in their business deals.
Those in capital projects management at PwC will focus on overseeing and managing large‑scale construction and infrastructure projects, enabling them to be completed on time and within budget. Your work will demonstrate and build on strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate various stakeholders and resources.
Responsibilities
- Participate in complex project developments, financings, and transactions in the energy, infrastructure, and mining sectors
- Develop financial models and assist in complex data analysis and modeling including preparing visual representations of data
- Conduct feasibility studies and financial and commercial analysis of projects and companies
- Participate in project risk assessments
- Perform independent validation of project data
- Participate in the development of project management processes
- Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of project controls
- Participate in writing reports, procurement documents, and/or information memorandums
- Participate in assignments involving post‑transaction monitoring and project tracking
- Assist in the preparation of pitch decks, marketing materials, and proposals
- Undertake market research and benchmarking exercises as directed
- Assist in developing business opportunities for the Real Assets practice
Qualifications
- Previous experience (including internships) working in project finance/M&A; or within an engineering consulting/project management firm would be an asset
- Interest in pursuing a professional designation in finance (CFA, CBV) or in project management (PMP, PQS) would be an asset
- Solid financial modeling skills
- Ability to work on multiple and diverse projects with tight deadlines
- Ability to use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current trends and problem‑solve
- Role does not support completion of the Canadian CPA designation

Benefits
Salary range: $41,600 - $69,400 (may vary by location). Eligible employees may participate in variable incentive pay programs.
