Join the Central Island Child And Adolescent Psychiatry Program (CICAPP) as a full-time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. Engage in Telepsychiatry and various program developments on Vancouver Island.
CICAPP is looking for a dedicated psychiatrist to enhance its offerings, including mental health outreach to underserved areas and consultations for pediatric services. This role entails collaboration with one other psychiatrist and support for an Early Psychosis Intervention Program. Additionally, you will have the chance to engage with local mental health teams and contribute to the training of medical students through UBC's Faculty of Medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop Telepsychiatry outreach initiatives
• Provide consultation to pediatric care services
• Support the Mental Health Day Program for children
• Engage in Early Psychosis Intervention consultations
• Collaborate with the local Child and Youth Mental Health Team
Requirements:
• Full medical license in British Columbia
• Experience in child and adolescent psychiatry
• Interest in research and teaching
• Solid collaboration skills
• Commitment to community-based service
