Jeffrey’s Café is looking for an outgoing and dependable Server to join our front-of-house team. We’re seeking someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy restaurant environment and takes pride in creating a welcoming experience for every guest.

This is a permanent position offering approximately 30–35 hours per week, with shifts scheduled Monday through Saturday. Applicants must be available to work evenings between 4:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

Responsibilities
Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service
Take accurate food and beverage orders
Become knowledgeable about our menu and confidently answer guest questions
Serve food and alcoholic beverages responsibly
Process payments accurately using our POS system
Communicate effectively with kitchen, bar and front-of-house team members
Maintain clean, organized and properly stocked service areas
Complete opening, closing and side duties
Follow Jeffrey’s Café service standards and workplace policies
Work as part of a team to ensure timely, consistent service

Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have a valid Alberta ProServe certification




Must be available Monday through Saturday, including regular evening shifts from 4:00–10:00 p.m.
Previous serving or customer-service experience is preferred
Robust communication, organization and time-management skills
Dependable, punctual and comfortable working in a fast-paced workplace
Positive attitude and genuine interest in providing excellent hospitality
Able to remain professional and attentive during busy service periods

Compensation: Hourly wage plus tips
