Our stylish modular homes are built in a 150,000 square foot climate-controlled facility in Barrhead, Alberta.

Northplex Ltd. is currently seeking a Full Time Building Maintenance & Tool Crib Attendant located in Barrhead, AB. This position is accountable for the maintenance, cleanliness and organization of the facility and the yard.

Responsibilities and Duties
Issue, track, and manage tools, equipment, and supplies
Maintain accurate inventory and usage records
Inspect tools for damage and ensure protected working conditions
Perform basic tool maintenance and coordinate repairs
Keep the tool crib clean, organized, and secure
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering
Perform general facility maintenance (minor repairs, up keep, troubleshooting)
Assist with maintenance of production equipment
Respond to maintenance requests from production staff




Support preventative maintenance programs
Ensure work areas meet safety standards and regulations

Requirements
Equipment operation experience is an asset
Valid Driver License
Valuable communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Knowledge and use of basic hand and power tools
Proven ability to work in a protected manner and follow safety procedures
Perform duties in an organized and productive manner in a fast paced environment
Team-player with good attitude
Must be able to lift up to a max of 50 lbs
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Must be comfortable working at heights
