Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Hand to support our culinary team in a quick-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service. This role offers an excellent chance to gain experience in the food industry and develop essential skills related to food handling, safety, and restaurant operations.

Duties
Assist with basic food preparation and meal assembly under the supervision of chefs or kitchen staff
Assist with dishwashing, waste disposal, and stock replenishment
Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and maintaining cleanliness of workstations
Handle food safely by following proper hygiene and sanitation procedures
Serve food to customers or staff in accordance with established standards
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards




Support the overall operation of the kitchen during busy service periods

Qualifications
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and hygiene standards is advantageous
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Basic understanding of serving, food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly processes
Willingness to learn new skills related to the food industry
