We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. We are a student ran painting business in the Muskoka area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality standards and safety compliance. Duties
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure proper paint adhesion
Apply primers, paints, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
Inspect finished surfaces for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications
Maintain a clean work area and ensure all safety protocols are followed during painting operations
Assist with assembly or machining tasks as needed to support production workflows




Use basic math skills for measurements and mixing paints or coatings accurately
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship

Skills
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment used in painting applications
Knowledge of welding techniques is advantageous for surface preparation or repairs
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards in a manufacturing workplace
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
