Duties
Assist veterinarians with animal examinations, treatments, and procedures to ensure smooth clinic operations
Prepare examination rooms and surgical areas, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for procedures
Handle client interactions at the front desk, including appointment scheduling, check-ins, and answering inquiries with professionalism and warmth
Collect and record patient histories, vital signs, and laboratory samples accurately to support diagnosis and treatment plans
Maintain laboratory equipment and perform basic laboratory tests; laboratory experience is highly valued to ensure accurate results
Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, medication administration, and preventive health measures
Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring medication levels
Qualifications
Prior experience in a veterinary setting or laboratory environment is preferred; laboratory experience is especially beneficial
