Duties
Prepare animals for examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process
Assist veterinarians during surgeries, diagnostics, and treatments by handling instruments and monitoring vital signs
Collect laboratory samples such as blood, urine, or tissue for testing, leveraging laboratory experience to ensure accuracy
Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian with precision and care
Maintain detailed medical records, update patient files, and document all procedures accurately
Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, medication administration, and preventive health measures




Support kennel and facility cleanliness to uphold a hygienic environment conducive to healing

Experience
Previous laboratory experience is highly desirable to facilitate sample collection and processing tasks
Experience working with animals in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for dedicated learners
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $23.00-$36.14 per hour
