Job description
We are looking for a full time Pharmacy Assistant at Dyck's Pharmacists on St. Paul Street. You will be scheduled Monday to Friday 830-5pm or 9-530pm, and occasional Saturdays 10-4pm.
This assistant will be responsible for typing prescriptions and communicating with patients about them, including the unique details about compounded medications. Because this is a advanced position, we will only be considering applicants with extensive experience with prescription entry.
As a Pharmacy Assistant you will be responsible for processing and preparing prescriptions, assisting patients in person and over the phone,
cashier duties, preparing deliveries, ordering and inventory management, and assisting the Pharmacists with daily operations of the Pharmacy.
The successful candidate will have:
Positive verbal and written communication skills
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Exceptional customer service skills
Positive organizational skills and the ability to multi task
Previous Pharmacy experience required; experience using Kroll strongly preferred
Wage is negotiable and will be based on previous pharmacy experience.
