As one of the largest dealer groups in Cape Breton, we are seeking a 2nd full time, permanent Body Shop Estimator for our busy Village Carstar Collision Center in Sydney, NS. This position would be a great fit for someone looking to advance their career in a qualified working environment.

The Estimator is the main contact person for our valued customers, so a professional, outgoing personality is a must. Additionally, the successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of auto body repair processes, strong leadership ability, and experience writing vehicle appraisals. In addition to serving our customers, the Estmator is also responsible for maintaining our strong relationships with insurance companies as required.

Duties include:

Inspecting and breaking down vehicles and writing detailed estimates, taking pictures when required Handling all estimates, repair orders and work authorization Ongoing communication with production staff. Must have experience breaking down vehicles with your own tools

Requirements:

College or Technical School Degree Experience in auto body repair, including terminology and claims process

have your own tools for breaking down vehicles

Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership ability

Proficient computer skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
