IS2 Workforce Solutions is currently hiring for our client, a growing and well-established machining company, seeking experienced CNC Machinists - 5 Axis to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent prospect with competitive pay and excellent benefits.

Shift Details
Afternoon Shift: 3:30 PM – 1:45 AM (Monday to Thursday)
Training will be conducted on the day shift
Overtime available after 40 hours

Pay Rate: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC milling machines using CNC controls
Perform tool setup, calibration, and adjust tool offsets
Machine parts to specifications based on engineering drawings and customer requirements
Maintain equipment in safe working condition (cleaning, lubrication, coolant levels)
Perform general housekeeping including chip removal and maintaining a clean, safe workspace
Inspect and maintain measuring instruments in compliance with ISO standards
Follow all company policies, safety standards, and procedures





Qualifications & Requirements
Red Seal Machinist Certification (required)
Minimum 5 years of experience with 5-axis CNC machining (required)
Minimum 5 years of experience with 3-axis machining (required)
Strong understanding of machining principles, G & M code
Experience with Haas CNC machines (NGC Control) is an asset
Experience working with castings is considered a strong asset
Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
