Duties
Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, and measuring to ensure effective kitchen operations
Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
Assist with food plating and garnishing to ensure visual appeal
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders
Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to maintain smooth workflow
Assist with meal preparation for special events or catering as required
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a rapid-paced environment
