Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. Your responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, handling inquiries, and ensuring a welcoming environment for both pets and their owners.

Duties
Greet clients and their pets with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Schedule and confirm appointments while managing the clinic's calendar efficiently.
Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage billing processes.
Assist in laboratory tasks as needed, including sample collection and processing.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and inviting for clients.
Collaborate with veterinary staff to provide seamless communication regarding patient care.
Handle any client concerns or complaints professionally and promptly.

Requirements




Previous experience in a veterinary or medical office setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Solid customer service skills with an ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures is a plus.
Proficiency in using computer systems for scheduling and record management.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
High school diploma or equivalent; further education in veterinary technology or related fields is advantageous.
