Material Coordinator – Hotel Renovation Project (Calgary)
We are currently looking to hire a Material Coordinator for an active renovation project in Calgary. This project is expected to run for just over one year and will play a critical role in keeping the site organized, effective, and productive. After project completion, you will have the option to continue on with the renovation team and move to the next city.
Primary Responsibilities
Receiving and organizing material deliveries
Verifying deliveries for accuracy and damages
Maintaining accurate inventory counts and tracking
Managing tool storage, lockup, and sign-out procedures
Monitoring material levels and notifying the Superintendent of low stock
Signing materials and tools in/out to crew members
Maintaining a clean and organized storage/work area
Additional Requirements
Skilled labour work will be required as needed to support the site team
Must be comfortable working on your feet for 8+ hours per day
Must be able to regularly lift 50 lbs
Ability to work in a rapid-paced construction setting
Robust organizational skills and attention to detail are essential
Assets / Preferred Experience
Previous construction or renovation experience
Experience with inventory or material tracking
Any additional trade skills are considered a strong asset
