Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Casual Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a robust commitment to quality and efficiency.
Duties
Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in commercial spaces
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas according to established standards
Handle waste disposal and restock supplies as needed
Conduct routine maintenance checks on cleaning equipment and report any issues
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a secure working environment
Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as required
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes
Requirements
Proven experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance preferred
Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment and supplies
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Robust attention to detail and organizational skills
Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting moderate loads
Reliable transportation is a plus for flexible scheduling or moving between sites
A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards and safety protocols
