Seeking an energetic, efficient and organized person to fill this front line role. The successful candidate will have a skilled appearance and cheerful demeanour with the ability to multi-task and deal with a wide variety of people and situations. Must be willing to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

The right candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, robust communication and organizational skills, a professional telephone manner, strong computer skills and the ability to multi-task. The candidate must be self-motivated and willing to work as a team player. Hotel related experience is an asset, but not necessary.

Role & Responsibilities:
Greet and interact with guests or patrons on all levels of their experience at the Resort while providing excellent customer service
Answer phone calls in a professional and timely manner
Process individual guest check-ins and check-outs
Process group check-ins and check-outs
Ensure guest registrations are updated and accurate




Assign guestrooms to reservations, accommodating special requests when possible
Answer guest and patron inquiries with knowledge of all the Resorts facilities, as well as the Penticton area
Conflict resolution for basic guest needs and/or concerns
Ensuring the privacy of all guests
Basic accounting procedures including debit, credit and cash transactions as well as balancing transactions at the end of the shift
Complete a daily shift checklist
Liaise with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Reporting of any issues or concerns to the Duty Manager on-shift
Cross-training in reservations and bellperson role
