Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our energetic team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with automotive repair, and familiarity with various tools and schematics. Prior dealership experience and welding skills are a plus. This position offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment focused on quality service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced tools and schematics
Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs efficiently and safely
Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols during all repair procedures
Assist with vehicle assembly and component installation as needed
Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle serviced




Ensure all work meets quality standards and customer expectations
Support maintenance tasks to keep the workshop organized and equipment in optimal condition
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and recommendations clearly

Qualifications
Proven mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive repair procedures
Dealership experience preferred but not required
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and schematics for diagnostics and repairs
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) when handling parts or equipment
Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems
Experience with welding and assembly is advantageous
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Valuable communication skills for effective customer interaction and teamwork
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $35.00-$39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
